Country’s first ever Business Innovation Summit

With the spirit of making imagination in real and with the title “Today’s Innovation, a Possible Future”, country’s very first Business Innovation Summit was held. About a thousand of entrepreneurs participated in the Summit, held on Saturday in the capital’s Krishibid Institute Bangladesh Auditorium. 3 best of the young entrepreneurs were awarded for ‘Business Idea Challenge’. Winning project is- “Chemical Extraction from Eggshell”, second winning project is “Smartrobot” and “Bahon” is the third winning project.

The winning projects have been awarded with necessary financial support and 6 months mentorship, co-operated by QaziIT. Founder of Innovation Forum, Ariful Hasan Apu said Bangladesh has been keeping pace with the growing world demand. To implement new ideas, we must search from our new young business stars. Today’s generation is quite interested in learning about the corporate world. Also, many people step back due to having no experience of starting a new business. And, this is why this Business Innovation Summit has been organized to focuss on these issues and ways to solution.

Country’s best corporate icons and renowned entrepreneurs talked about how a person can prepare himself for corporate world and how an entrepreneur can make his own initiative, his dream come to a reality. A panel discussion was held to provide some guidelines on corporate manners, leadership mindset and its impact on business decisions, dos and donts of a job. Mr. Solaiman Shukhon, Head of Marketing, Aamra Network; chairman of Daffodil group, Sobur Khan; a prominent ad maker and film director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury; director of Dell America and founder of Cloudcamp, Bangladesh, Mohammad Jaman; Assistant Vice President of HSBC, Samid Razzak; Head of Digital Channel, Grameenphone Mirza Salman Hossain Beg; Rana Sohel, CEO of Leads Corporation; Asst Vice President of a leading multinational bank, Samid Razzak; Ershadul Haque, CEO of RiseUP Lab; Shubashis Barua, Senior Vice President of Green Delta Insurance Company Limited, Head of Innovation Center; and many more respectful business personnel graced the Summit by sharing various aspects of building a career.
