Imagine Cup Bangladesh 2014 Champions were in the following categories:

  • World Citizenship: The Imaginarium (Sign of Life) from BUET came up with a hardware based solution that uses custom-built routers to rescue people from building collapse, stampede, etc.
  • Innovation: Ekattur (Safety Shield) from AIUB built a solution for crowdsourcing and Facebook-mining casualty and traffic related data for app users to stay alert
  • Games: Karigor (!Prince Charming) from AUST made a 3D First-person shooting game about King, Queen and of course the Dragon.

This is the first time Bangladesh National Finals round will be held online and the winning teams in each category will participate in the Worldwide Online Semi-finals, and the top teams will make it to the Seattle for the Worldwide Finals.
