When it comes to the world of laptops, Lenovo pretty much stands out from all its competitors. Well, at least that’s the feeling you will pretty much experience once you use ThinkPad X1 Carbon, the recent laptop launched by the giants. The neat and well spaced keyboard, which is quite rare in most of the laptop keyboards these days, will surely catch your attention from the moment you start using it. This is just one of the numerous other attractive features packed in this remarkable product.

Lenovo claims the ThinkPad X1 Carbon to be the lightest 14-inch laptop currently in the world. The carbon fiber body aids to keep the weight light and at the same time makes the laptop more durable. Another added feature of the carbon fiber is that it is not prone to finger prints and smudges, which is a major problem for many laptops these days. It shares a common feature with its predecessors as the notebook’s display can be folded back 180 degrees, allowing you to find the perfect angle based on your need.

The 14-inch display is a touch screen with a very high 2,560 X 1,440-pixel resolution. However there is an extra feature on this laptop which will completely astound you. It is something Lenovo calls an adaptive keyboard and it makes the laptop somewhat unique. This adaptive keyboard replaces the function key row at the very top of the keyboard with a small touch-screen strip. It is a phenomenal concept, and the amusing part is that the strip changes when you switch from one app to the other, based on the app you are using.
