Bangladeshi internet users will be able to use internet for free on their mobile phone from the end of March. Primarily, under Internet.org project, users can access Facebook, National Information portal, Service Portal, National Forms Portal, Wikipedia along with 2 news site; in total 6 portals can be accessed.

In order to use the free internet the portals need to be mobile optimized and cannot contain too many photos. Moreover, users won’t be able to use JavaScript as per the conditions set by Internet.org team visiting Bangladesh. Accordingly, the project has been undertaken by the web developers.
